Living Like our Ancestors

Tour of wineries and olive oil mills, tasting included; visit to the town of Kali on Ugljan, getting to know the way of life of fishermen and their traditional cuisine; tour of Benkovac; familiarisation with ˝klapa˝ singing.

It is a true pleasure to escape the breakneck speed of modern life and return to a simple way of living. Come with us and meet the traditional way of life of the island population and the people of Ravni kotari. You will see how wine and olive oil is made and be able to taste the products. The region of Benkovac and its people will familiarise you with the rich history and customs of the area, as well as with the authentic products and food that is still made by hand, in a natural way. Kali is the home of the most renowned fishermen on the Adriatic, who have proven their skills on seas all over the world. A specific feature of this town are its two ports full of fishing boats and fishermen busy mending their nets on the wharfs. Products made from marinated and salted fish prepared according to traditional recipes will further contribute to your pleasure, as will ˝klapa˝ singing - a specific form of a capella singing that is under the protection of UNESCO.
